There is a fundamental design problem with Currencies.

The Design is
1.Every currency is identified by a unique serial number
2.Every currency has a series of security features which makes it difficult to duplicate.

However with increasing economic crimes,
Once the currency is out, the same series ( serial number ) can be duplicated.
This is a functional design bug.

Now we have a few questions
How a ordinary man who is doing normal cash transaction with another person can ensure
1.The currency is genuine ( Security checks ) ?
2.It is not a duplicate ? ( I,e only one copy of it exists )
It is impossible to know the Security checks on a foreign currency and then it is unique ( not a duplicate)

In short, It is not humanly possible to do the checks and balances.

Hence our design of our current currency system is Wrong.

WE NEED TO MAKE ONE MORE LEGAL CHANGES IN THE WORLD.
ALL INTERNATIONAL TRAVELLERS SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST A INTERNATIONAL CHARGE CARD.
( IT HAS TO BE MADE MANDATORY FOR ALL TRAVELLERS )

IT IS TIME TO CHANGE.

All shops all over World ( esp the ones located in airports ) should have
a debit and credit card / charge card system and should do business only with cards.

I HAVE FOUND IN MANY SHOPS IN AIRPORTS LIKE MC DONALDS AND MANY OTHERS DO NOT ACCEPT CARDS.
THIS HAS TO BE FIXED FIRST.

Alternatively,

Another solution to make small payments would be
1.Make the Cell phone system to be global ( with roaming enabled )
2.You should be able to make a cell phone payment by sending a sms or calling a number and then using a denomination.
(This is how the cell phones are used in Europe - to make payments to automatic vending machines )
The same can be extended to shops as well.

WE NEED TO COMPLETELY ELIMINATE THE ( PAPER) CURRENCY
and convert it into electronic form ( like visa / master ) or any other card
a.Which could be doing centralised checks every time
b.Which can also notify the user the moment it is charged ( if needed )

This is the only way by which can fix all the currency problem in the World.

It is time to change and let us start doing it first.
