Prevent Rails from Rusting

Please coat Zn+Al on NCC Steel to reduce corrosion.

The solutions to prevent corrosion of Rails is with Railways itself.

The Electric post installed to hold electrification is the solution.

The RAILs must be head hardened - for longevity in ware,
The sides and bottom has to be galvanized with zinc.

Aluminium paints has to be painted on the sides and bottom.

This will give a life of steel close to 25 years if everything works fine.

Painting with Aluminium has to be done more frequently.

Kindly do the needful.

Slow down CPU speed to enhance Write Endurance to enhance life of RAM

use MRAM

Slow down CPU speed to enhance Write Endurance to enhance life of RAM.

Upon observing the number of writes for SRAM and DRAM
The write endurance is 10 power 16.

Our CPUs are running at the speed of 1Ghz and above.

Assuming that our CPUs are running at 1Ghz,

It constantly writes in the Graphic memory.

So, the life of the DRAM chip is
10pow16 / 10pow9 which is 10pow7.
Dividing 10pow7 by 86400 (sec per day ) it is 115 days.

So the life of the SDRAM is only 115 days.

We have to somehow improve this to improve the life of a computer.

What is the required speed of the graphic memory system?

Let us assume that we have a 1600X900 monitor which is 1.4 Mega pixel.
Suppose, it has to refresh 30 times per second,
Then the display system needs 42 Mega Pixel per sec
Even if the system has to run Full HD 100 Mega pixel per second is enough.
Assuming we require 32bits per pixel 32bpp, if the system is 32bits
The system needs to run only at 100Mhz.

It is enough that the GPU runs at 100Mhz beyond which the human eyes cannot see.

Secondly, Currently most of the systems CPU is less than 1% used. So we do not need 1Gh
we only need 10Mhz to do 99% of jobs in the computer.
Even if we have 10 times the load at burst mode,
100 Mhz is more than enough for the CPU.

So integrate CPU + GPU + North Bridge etc into one CHIP APU at 100 Mhz
By doing so, The life of the RAM will increase from 115 days to 1150days.

By consiously reducing the speed further by 50% and only allowing
1600X900 displays we can bring down the speed of the APU to 50Mhz.
That would improve the life of the RAM to 2000 days.

2000 days should be the mininum life of the system.

Kindly do the needful.

Concrete Sleepers create non recyclable waste - Use steel sleepers

Hi All,

concrete sleepers create non recyclable waste.
Please migrate to all Steel sleepers.

We first invented steel.
Then we invented Rail.
But when Railways entered into business
We did cut millions of trees all over the world.
-Train Invention is not wrong.
Cutting trees all over the World is wrong.

Currently we are using Concrete sleeper.
They have a very low life, after which it could not be 100% recycled.
We have to use 100% Steel (or an alloy of steel which is non corrosive) for sleepers.
This steel must be 100% recyclable.

Please Stop using concrete sleepers for Rail Roads.
Used / Removed Concrete Sleepers could not be 100% recycled.
It creates material waste.
Use steel Sleepers.

You can take TATA Steel Europe to get the technology.

IPV6 allocation policy is not secure: Please make it as Geography based IP: Fix the Router SW

IPV6 allocation policy is not secure: Please make it as Geography based IP: Fix the Router SW

The current policy for distribution of IPV6 addresses
will lead to potentially unsafe insecure Internet.

IPV6 should be able to be easily monitored.

The current allocation policy leads to severe security lapse.

I am providing a solution for the surveillance of IPV6
which is needed for Country or world security.

Firstly,
The IPV6 address has to be broken into
Geo part and network part.

In the Geo part, it has to be broken into
Country part - ISD Country code
Geography part - PIN Postal Index Number part.

The router working at Network level
will accept packets from connection
only when input
Country part = Country part of the router ( this can be done by XOR or OR functions only one instruction per packet)
Geography part - From a list of valid Geography part.
Receivers  part could be anything in the Internet.

Router working at country level will
accept packet from connection
only when input
Country part = Country part of the router.

IF all the router SW are updated and upgraded
Which could or should be done with IPV6 implementation,
The entire Internet is secure.

Please kindly do the needful.

Thanks and Regards,
N.Rajeaswar.

WE ARE ALL LEARNING EVERY MOMENT OF A DAY, KEEP LEARNING ALIVE IN YOU.

Ask, Ask, Ask, know what you are learning is correct.

See first whether your problem is solved in some domain. ( use it if needed ).

Almost All problems are already solved except in computational chemistry (biology) / physics

One Page Doc for (5 to 10 minutes )

1. Communicate effectively

Mention about AI tools like Genetic algorithms and Emycin.

Those who know the answers ( wait, give opportunity to others and then answer)

I am going to give the seeds( words of knowledge), you need to grow the plants and reap the fruits.

Why are we coming to office, what is the definition of office

1. We trust computers and we need 100% accuracy [what is the area of India ][what is the population of India yahoo] ( / Exactness should be maintained 100% ) ( Error propagation and cost of fixing it ) Integrity has to be maintained by computers. BMI – is the highest level of Integrity.

2. Quality ( Where, When, What, which, [whose], Why, how, [whether] ) Whom => ISO

3. Wastage in SW from lean ( design, dev, implement, test, implement ) waste ( time, credibility data issues / fix )

4. Have confidence and courage is saying something wrong has happened if you notice one (even if it is your own )

5. One should know SDLC.

6. Performance of an application/ Performance of Individual is more important than functionality. ( I will explain you this ).

How many of you use putty? ( puttygen auto login )

Setting aliases and customizing your env in unix (a-z) one letter and variants are available.

sed : Full release dump file converted to different initial and next extents

awk : datagen.ksh/datagen.awk

100TB or more of data has to be converted to pdf. ( Amazon elastic cloud EC2 ) 3Million to $300

Firstgov.gov paid 1Billion for a re org of the urls and links.

Diff in pdf / html files of a columnar report. Xldiff.

Many old trees to New trees ( start with connect by will not work hence we did a loop mechanism with simpler coding and restricting loop to 10. )

In unix how will you copy the first column of a file to a second file. ( solution exists or not ). Where you can solve it fast?( cut – for all lines exits for part of a file does not exists.) windows

Problem Analysis ( A given logical problem will transform into physical and design problem based on your expertise and awareness of the solution ) ( Single identification system- Nandan Nilekani )

Computerization of Election. ( as an exercise).

A Good ( or many) solution may even change the problem from one domain to another.

SDLC Methodologies (

Waterfall, fountain, spiral, build and fix, rapid prototyping, incremental, synchronize and stabilize

Agile Methodologies, XP and Scrum, Lean, clean room (IBM), RAD (Rapid Application Development ) and DSDM( Dynamic systems Development Method)

A. Waterfall

1. Requirements specification

2. Analysis |< ----à| ( This is the space where we apply our problem solving ability )

3. Design |-------à|

4. Construction (AKA implementation or coding)

5. Integration

6. Testing and debugging (AKA Validation)

7. Installation

8. Maintenance ( Change Requests)

Thus the waterfall model maintains that one should move to a phase only when its preceding phase is completed and perfected.

Time spent early on in software production can lead to greater economy later on in the software lifecycle

Prototyping required ( to preview the application).

Many changes may need to change the initial design.

Agile

iterative development, where requirements and solutions evolve through collaboration between self-organizing cross-functional teams.

Specific tools and techniques such as continuous integration, automated or xUnit test, pair programming, test driven development, design patterns, domain-driven design, code refactoring and other techniques are often used to improve quality and enhance project agility.

Scrum:

Scrum is a "process skeleton," which contains sets of practices and predefined roles. The main roles in Scrum are: (1) the "ScrumMaster," who maintains the processes (typically in lieu of a project manager); (2) the "Product Owner," who represents the stakeholders; and (3) the "Team", a cross-functional group of about 7 people who do the actual analysis, design, implementation, testing, etc.

Problem solving methodologies

Recursion,

Induction,

Table, tree ,list, stack, queue, sort, search, hierarchy, adjacency, critical path, Well formed formula.

Working Backwards

Function / Decomposition

Divide and conquer

Top down

Bottom up

Integrated ( Algorithm Working backwards, implementation Integrated. )

Operations Research ( 95% Accurate solution is better than no solutions ) that 95% has to be accurate.

( Single Identification system )

Are there problems which are yet to be solved?

YES.

Do we need to build cities? We need to build Global Villages.

What is the power of sun that we are wasting?

What is the solution for transport after oil age ( PSEV – Plug in Solar Electric Vehicles)

Transportation can be replace with Network ( CDMA+GSM+DSL+3G )

Nvidia Tegra chip ( computer on a Chip revolution) High performance single chip computer.

Other things every software engineer should know

1. One server OS unix

2. One client OS windows

3. One middle level language C

4. One rdbms Oracle

5. One Editor vi on unix

6. One document editor Word

7. One spread sheet xl

8. One power point ( basic )

9. One reporting tool

10. One network fundamentals

Commands to become a DBA.

1. Create user

2. Create tablespace

3. Create transportable tablespace

4. Automatic undo management

5. Grants with admin option

6. Cold backup

7. Hot backup

8. Recover / clone database

9. Sql loader

10. Imp / export

( To solve the problem ( logical solution) we do not need a computer, but to implement we need one)

I would like to note that the value of browsing the WEB in search of algorithms is somewhat questionable :-). One probably will be much better off buying Donald Knuth'sTAOCP and ... disconnecting from the Internet for a couple of months.

Genetic Algorithms as a solution for synchronized signaling system.

Oracle + NW Failure + Single Disk Failure + Serial port IR Reader, Serial port Thermal Printer Windows + SDK + Pro*C - Can you solve the problem, The answer is YES.

What is not Solvable.

1. UTF8 conversion / validation after truncation : N dimentional problem : Cannot be verified

2. Integral root cos x/2

3. Quantum computer n15 states per flip flop will not work why? - ( rubidium atoms )
